When I was thinking about what to write in this post, the heat was first and foremost in my mind. The first song that popped into my head was “Hot Fun in the Summertime” by Sly and the Family Stone. This hot weather takes a toll on everyone, but there is still a lot of fun to be had by all. After all, summertime music is the perfect way to enjoy this season. A great place to find respite from the heat is your favorite local restaurant, bar, winery or distillery. This week there is plenty of live music in our area to enjoy. A local favorite The Sherwood Inn, is featuring live music tonight by the talented Dustin Collins. The music starts at 6:00 pm, but come early and enjoy a great meal and a cocktail or two prior to the show.
