Happy New Year everyone and thank you for all of your support this past year. A special thank you to all of the artists and venues that have entrusted me to spread the word about where and when you perform. Without you, this little blog would not exist.
2024 was a year full of great live music in our local area. From a private performance in my own backyard from the great Brian Williamson to music at many of my favorite local venues, I’ve enjoyed every minute. We also listened to some great performances in Cape Coral, live music on a cruise to St. John, and winding up the year in Austin, Texas. I loved listening to all of my favorites and discovering some new artists along the way.
Turning the page to 2025, I see a lot of great things in store for the future of live music in our area. In January, the long-awaited album Kaleb Cecil & Hotel Whiskey Live at Deadbird will be released. The first single “Mary” has been released and is available on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. I’m looking forward to creating new content for the website and sharing videos of the various artists we see this coming year. I will also be adding some new features and plan to do some artist and venue interviews this summer! Get out and support live music and the venues where they play. I hope to see you all while I’m on my musical journey this year.
