With all of the bad winter weather Kentucky has had this year already, I feel like Punxsutawney Phil and haven’t wanted to come out of my safe warm home at all. This week, however, the temperatures have warmed up and Kentucky has enjoyed a few days of respite from the cold and snow. I’ve been fortune enough to travel south this week for some much-needed sunshine and live music. More to come on some bands we like to follow here in Cape Coral. I can’t wait to share them with you.
Exciting New Music and Live Music Shows on the Horizon
In addition to our escape from the cold weather, there has been some exciting things happening in our local Kentucky music scene I want to share with you. First on the list, was the release of Kaleb Cecil & Hotel Whiskey, Live at Deadbird! This album has 7 fantastic tracks from some of the most talent musicians in the area. The album is now available for download on all streaming platforms. They also have collaborated with Half Brothers Media to release videos for some of the songs. The first one out is Hell or High Water and you can check it out on YouTube now. Show these guys some support by liking, sharing and downloading their music.
Second, my favorite local rock band, Hooker is laying down tracks in the studio for a new album! They have a huge fanbase in the local area and this one will surely be a big success. If you have seen them live, you know how truly talented they are. I’ll post more as it become available but for now, follow them on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
