Whether you prefer an outdoor concert, an intimate acoustic performance, a lively late-night show, or an evening spent enjoying Kentucky wine and bourbon-based cocktails, this weekend’s calendar has something for every music lover.
The weather should be nearly perfect for getting out and enjoying live music, with the recent heat finally subsiding and more comfortable temperatures settling into the region. It will be a wonderful weekend to enjoy the outdoor concerts at Friday Night Sound Bites and Music in the Vineyards—or to stroll through town, have dinner, and sip a refreshing bourbon-based cocktail before listening to one of your favorite local performers.
Friday is especially busy, with seven performances taking place across the region. You can start the evening outdoors at Friday Night Sound Bites in Bardstown, enjoy live music while playing miniature golf in Elizabethtown, or head to one of our local bars and restaurants for a late-night performance.
Saturday brings another great outdoor option with Music in the Vineyards at Springhill Bed & Breakfast/Winery and Vineyards. Exit 105 Band will perform, and Backroads BBQ will be on-site serving food. Grab your friends, bring a chair, and settle in for an evening of music, wine, food, and beautiful Kentucky scenery.
