The 34th annual Rolling Fork Iron Horse Festival takes place in New Haven, Kentucky this Saturday. New Haven has done a great job of growing and improving this festival over the years and there is something for everyone. Center Street will close at 6 am so the 85 craft vendors and 10 food trucks can get set up for you to enjoy. Along with all of the motorcycle centric activities sponsor by The Long Branch Saloon, there is a fantastic kid’s area, a silent auction, Car show and the parade. The main event of the day will be the finale of the Small Town, Big Heart Idol Contest. What a great event for the whole family!
Make sure while you are out and about this weekend, to visit one of our local wineries. There’s delicious wine to sample and live music for your enjoyment. McIntyre & Family Winery is hosting their weekly Bike Night on Thursday and Springhill Winery is hosting their Music In the Vineyard on Saturday. We visited both wineries several times for various events. I can attest that their wines are delicious so if you like wine, they are both worth the visit.
