It’s sad but true. Our month-long trip to sunny Cape Coral, Florida is over and it’s time to get back to the real world. The weather was in the mid-eighties with sunshine most of our trip. We consumed lots of delicious food and beverages and listened to some great live music. Once we were on the road back home, I couldn’t wait to start planning our nights out to listen to the local artists we’ve missed while we were gone. Especially to this Kentucky girl, for live music, there no place like home.
In Cape Coral, we enjoyed live music at Monkey Bar Steak & Seafood Restaurant, and we had wonderful music and food experience at Cape Cabaret Dinner Theater. Deb & the Dynamic play a variety of pop & rock music, while we dined and danced the night away! Our final night in Cape Coral, we discovered a new restaurant, Hooked Island Grill. The food was some of the best in Cape Coral and Slimtonic5k played his soulful blend of rock & pop. We will definitely be back next year! Visit the musicwanderlust.com Live Music Where We Travel page for video clips of Deb & the Dynamics and Slimtronic5k and other artists we have heard outside of Kentucky.
When we arrived by to our Kentucky home, we set up a night with a great group of friends to have dinner at Mammy’s Kitchen & Bar in Bardstown and listen to our favorite, Brian Williamson. The food was great, and Brian played all of our favorite tunes.
